Stuart is a member of the commercial litigation and insolvency team, and has represented and aided clients in both the Queensland and Federal court systems as well as the Commercial Tribunals. Stuart is admitted in the Supreme Court of Queensland as well as the High Court of Australia.
Before joining redchip lawyers, Stuart worked for a mid-sized city firm providing commercial and business advice and has also worked at Queensland’s leading body corporate legal practice representing lot owners and bodies corporate.
Although he has a particular interest in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, Stuart has experience in corporate re-structuring and establishing self-managed superannuation funds, intellectual property protection, retail lease disputes, resort development and establishing community title schemes, management rights, liquor licensing, as well as other commercial and property law.
He has presented papers at legal education seminars and workshops, and at public information seminars regarding bodies corporate and management rights disputes and related issues.
Combined with an appreciation of the need for commercial efficiency in disputes, Stuart enjoys delivering results to clients on time and cost effectively.
“Today, clients require an accessible, mobile and cost effective relationship with their legal advisors and I believe that is exactly what they receive from our firm.”
