Ian is a Director of redchip lawyers. He heads the Business Structuring and Planning group in the firm.
He is particularly well known for his work in estate planning and asset protection, including drafting testamentary trust, and business wills. He works closely with other industry professionals in accounting, insurance and financial services – providing them and their clients with expert legal advice and documentation regarding personal and business risk management.
Ian’s experience also includes advising in relation to business structures, partnerships, trusts and corporate entities. He has acted as corporate counsel for a large number of corporate clients giving advice in relation to taxation, restructuring, liquidations, capital raising and financing, franchising and industrial relations.
Ian is a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia, and the Turnaround Management Association. He has particular experience in the structuring of Not for Profit Organisations and the Taxations Regulations affecting them.
The most rewarding aspect of my job is sharing knowledge with my clients and helping them to make sound decisions now and in the future.
