Ian is a Partner of redchip lawyers. He heads the Estate Planning and Commercial Advisory groups in the firm.
Ian has strong commercial experience in a wide range of advisory and large transactional matters including shopping centre developments, retail shop leases and commercial leases.
He is particularly well known for his work in estate planning and asset protection, including drafting testamentary trusts, buy / sell option agreements and business succession plans. He works closely with a range of other industry professionals in accounting, insurance and financial services – providing them and their clients with expert legal advice and documentation regarding personal and business risk management.
Ian’s experience also includes advising in relation to business structures including partnerships, trusts and corporate entities. He has acted as corporate counsel for a large number of corporate clients giving advice in relation to taxation, restructuring, liquidations, financing, franchising and industrial relations.”
