Emily has a range of experience in many areas of the law. Emily is a solicitor in our Business Structures and Planning Team.
Emily understands the importance of listening to her clients. She works with them in order to achieve their desired objectives. She has a positive attitude and an outcome-driven approach.
She has experience in drafting various commercial agreements including:
- Complex Business Sale Agreements;
- Shareholders’ Agreements;
- Loan Documents; and
- Mortgages and other Security Documents.
Emily’s main focus in the Business Structures and Planning Team is in Business Exit and Estate Planning. She likes to know what makes her clients and their business tick so that she can provide them with support for now and in the future. Emily is able to:
- obtain a detailed understanding of her clients – their wants and needs;
- suggest what will work for her clients;
- negotiate for her clients; and
- achieve an outcome that is desired by her clients.
Before joining redchip, Emily worked in an inner city litigation firm where she represented clients in both the Queensland and Federal Court Systems. Emily is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
