Brian was admitted as a Solicitor in 1968 and founded his own firm McLaughlin Ivey in 1970 in which he continually practiced for over 39 years.
In June 2009 together with his partner Peter they merged that practice into redchip lawyers.
Brian has extensive experience in commercial property matters including:
- property development relating to residential, commercial and industrial subdivisions and strata title developments
- preparation of documents in relation to property development including disclosure statements and off the plan contracts
- acquisitions and sales of all types of commercial properties
- industrial, commercial and retail leasing.
Brian says “ I strive to offer timely advice and assistance in relation to all property matters from the very early stages of the matter to its conclusion”.
Brian’s role with redchip lawyers is also as a consultant to the commercial property team assisting, guiding and mentoring that team of talented lawyers and passing on his wealth of experience.
